Holiday Accommodation - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I arrive earlier than 2pm?

We try our hardest to have your accommodation ready from 2pm onwards as this allows for our dedicated team of cleaners to ensure your property  is cleaned and ready for your arrival. There are occasions where your accommodation  may be ready before 2pm but we cannot guarantee this. To prevent any unnecessary waiting we do strongly suggest not arriving till after 2pm.

If I need to arrive late what do I do?

If you cannot arrive before 5pm or traffic is bad and is causing a delay, then please contact the office here at Ferry Marina to alert us of your late arrival so that we can make arrival arrangements for you.

What time is check out?

Check out is by 9am on the day of your departure. This is to ensure that the property is cleaned to a high standard ready for the next guests.

Can I pay by cheque?

We accept cheque as a payment method providing it is made out to Ferry Marina Ltd. Alternatively we do accept all major cards.

Is there wi-fi available in the property?

Our properties have wifi

Is my house on the main river?

Deerfoot and Tealby are both on the main River. All our other properties are situated around our marina and all have frontage to the water. The views from the properties over the marina itself are beautiful and offer the perfect setting for an idyllic holiday.

Are towels included with the property?


Can I fish outside the property?

Your are more than welcome to fish outside your property around the marina during the season (16th June - 15th March). You will need to obtain a permit from the local post office first
