No Broads holiday is complete without a boat trip on the river to explore the famous Norfolk & Suffolk Broads.

From Ferry Marina, centrally located in Horning, you can easily reach the popular village of Wroxham (home to the famous Roys department store), Salhouse Broad with its lovely sandy beach and woodland walks, or Ranworth where a boardwalk nature trail leads to the Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s floating visitor centre. At Ranworth you can also visit St Helen’s Church and climb to the top of the 100ft tower, where an amazing view of the local broads & rivers awaits you.

Whatever you want

We have a range of boats to suit most budgets and requirements, and all our day cruisers have galley, WC and cabin. Many of the boats have been built on-site by our craftsmen here at Ferry Marina and we introduced a wheelchair-friendly electric dayboat to our fleet in 2009. Buoyancy aids and fuel are included in the price and you will be given tuition before setting off on your adventure.

Please note that although our day boats and cruisers have a hob and sink, they are not equipped with utensils, crockery or cutlery. You do need to provide those yourselves if you are planning lunch on board.
