Anchor Lodge is situated in the heart of Horning on the river Bure.

Centrally located for exploring The Broads, North Norfolk and the Norfolk coast. The historic city of Norwich is a 20 minute drive, you will find excellent shops, quaint streets, 12th century castle and two cathedrals. Hire a dayboat to see those places you can’t visit by car. Visit elegant country houses and take walks in the country. Then venture to the beach for sand castles and ice cream. Fishing is available right outside each property – the fishing season is open 16th June through to 15th March.

Anchor Lodge is set right in the heart of Horning, arguably the prettiest village on the Norfolk Broads. With accommodation mainly on the first floor and a balcony overlooking the river, the house makes the most of the views over the River Bure. It is the ideal spot to sit back, relax, and watch the goings on on the water.  There is also fishing from the garden.  All the shops, pubs and restaurants are within a five minute walk.
