Covid-19 update

16th March 2020

Guests health and welfare is paramount to us at Ferry Marina and we will be following government guidelines regarding the Covid-19 virus.

Current advice (15th March 2020) is as follows

To protect yourself and prevent the spread of infection please do the following:

Operation of the site will remain as normal

If any of our staff have reason to believe they may be infected we will ensure they call 111 and follow the advice given – including 7 or 14 days as appropriate self isolation if recommended.

We will be cleaning door handles, switches and all shared surfaces twice daily – in addition to our regular cleaning regime.

We are advising our staff to follow regular hand washing advice. Our staff will use disposable gloves within the reception area and bin them after use, to reduce any cross contamination.

If we suspect that someone may be infected on site we will take the following precautions

Please note that we are not able to offer any refunds in connection with holidays cancelled due to fear, self-isolation or infection in connection with Coronavirus. If you need to cancel your holiday under these circumstances then you should refer to your travel insurance policy.

We will enable you to re-schedule any holiday departing on or before 15th June 2020, up to 96 hours before departure.

We are able to postpone any bookings made before 15th March 2020, to a later date, providing the holiday completes before 31st December 2020. Should the alternative dates be at a higher cost, this will be payable.

We will be monitoring and updating as appropriate in accordance with Government guidelines.
