• Can I arrive earlier than 4pm?

  We try our hardest to have your accommodation ready from 4pm onwards as this allows for our dedicated team of cleaners to ensure your property is cleaned and ready for your arrival. There are occasions where your accommodation may be ready before 4pm but we cannot guarantee this.

  To prevent any unnecessary waiting we do strongly suggest not arriving until 4pm.

• What happen's if I need to arrive after 5pm?

  If you cannot arrive before 5pm or traffic is bad and is causing a delay, then please contact the office here at Ferry Marina to alert us of your late arrival so that we can make arrival arrangements for you.

• What time is check out?

  Check out is by 10am on the day of your departure. This is to ensure that the property is cleaned to a high standard ready for the next guests.

• Is WiFi available?

  WiFi is free where available, but not guaranteed.

• Is my house on the main river?

  Anchor Lodge is situated on the main River in the heart of Horning village. The views from the properties over the river offer the perfect setting for an idyllic holiday.

• Are towels included?

  Yes we leave towels in the property – one hand and one bath towel per person.

• Can I fish outside my property?

  Fishing is available outside each property. Although there is a closed season where fishing is not allowed anywhere on the Broads – 15th March to 16th June.

  We do not allow live baiting on our premises.

• Can I have a barbecue?

  Our properties do not have any suitable locations for barbecues.

• Do the properties have steps?

  Yes Anchor Lodge has steps to get in and is on two levels with stairs..

• I am a smoker what can I do?

  All our properties are non smoking and this includes e-cigarettes and all forms of vaping.

  You are welcome to smoke outside the property.
